Dennis  Marks was appointed the Hiawatha Police Chief in 2007.  Prior to that, Chief Marks began his law enforcement career in central Iowa in 1987 and has held various positions since.  Chief Marks’ experience includes Patrolman, Detective, Sergeant, Chief Deputy, and Police Chief prior to joining our department.
