The City of Hiawatha is pleased to announce the acceptance of the 2010 mosquito reduction program. Ground and aerial applications will normally be done evenings and nights throughout the summer.

Scheduled applications:

Week of May 24, completed by May 27th.

Week of June 14, completed by June 27th.

Week of June 21, completed by June 24th.

Week of July 12, completed by July 15th.

Week of August 16, completed by Autust 19th.

For additional sprays, citizens will be notified through NIXLE and radio/television communications.

Residents wanting to be notified before sprays should contact www.mosquitocontrolofiowa.com and request to be placed on the notification list for Hiawatha.
