Join us for the first Reindeer Fun Run/Walk 5k December 2nd, 2017 at 9am in Hiawatha! The race will start and end at Fay M. Clark Memorial Park (located at the north end of 18th avenue next to AirFX). The Friends of Hiawatha Parks and Recreation Foundation will be having a food drive for non-perishable food items donated to the HACAP food reservoir during the holiday season! Each runner will receive a stocking hat with their registration fee along with Hot Cocoa, Candy Canes, Cookies and SANTA when you cross the finish line! Get in the groove during the holiday season! Registration is $20 per participant, $25 the week of the race. The money raised during this event will be put towards a new water fountain in Guthridge Park that will be catered to park users and dogs. Come join the fun and help raise some funds for new park amenities!
