Highlights of Iowa Governor\u2019s proclamation (4\/16) for \u201cRegion 6 specific\u201d:<\/p>\n
The affected Counties: Allamakee, Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Grundy, Howard, Jones, Linn, Winneshiek<\/p>\n
Governor\u2019s data was reviewed and region 6 was elevated to a level 10.<\/p>\n
This is due in part to the
\n\u2022 Long term care facility outbreaks
\n\u2022 Severity of illness \/ rate of hospitalization.
\n\u2022 Increase in virus activity in this region of the state<\/p>\n
Effective at 11:59 p.m. April 16, 2020 -in all Region 6 counties – The Governor has ordered the following:<\/p>\n
\u2022 All gatherings for social, community, recreational, sporting, or leisure activities cease through April 30th.<\/p>\n
****YOU MAY ONLY GATHER WITH MEMBERS OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD ******<\/p>\n
\u2022 This 2-week time frame covers 1 incubation period of the virus and is intended to reduce the risk of further exposing yourself or others.<\/p>\n
Limited exceptions will be made for
\n\u2022 Churches, Spiritual, Religious, Weddings, and Funerals which will continue to be restricted to 10 people
\n\u2022 For individuals caring for family members outside of their immediate household.<\/p>\n
The Governor has also ordered social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet in public places outside of your home.<\/p>\n
This does not apply to Iowans leaving for employment. (more detail in proclamation)<\/p>\n
Businesses are encouraged to follow guidance provided by the Iowa DPH regarding infection prevention measures to protect employees \/ customers.<\/p>\n
Residents of Region 6 and all Iowans should:
\n\u2022 Stay home as much as possible
\n\u2022 Leave only for essential errands
\n\u2022 Work from home if you can
\n\u2022 If you are required to work at a physical location practice
\ncareful hygiene and maintain social distancing \/ disinfect
\nyour work area frequently
\n\u2022 Isolate at home if you or a member of your household is
\nsick
\n\u2022 If you need medical attention, call your doctor first<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
