Reynolds signs Public Health Emergency Declaration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Highlights of Iowa Governor\u2019s proclamation (4\/16) for \u201cRegion 6 specific\u201d:<\/p>\n<p>The affected Counties: Allamakee, Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Grundy, Howard, Jones, Linn, Winneshiek<\/p>\n<p>Governor\u2019s data was reviewed and region 6 was elevated to a level 10.<\/p>\n<p>This is due in part to the<br \/>\n\u2022 Long term care facility outbreaks<br \/>\n\u2022 Severity of illness \/ rate of hospitalization.<br \/>\n\u2022 Increase in virus activity in this region of the state<\/p>\n<p>Effective at 11:59 p.m. April 16, 2020 -in all Region 6 counties &#8211; The Governor has ordered the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 All gatherings for social, community, recreational, sporting, or leisure activities cease through April 30th.<\/p>\n<p>****YOU MAY ONLY GATHER WITH MEMBERS OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD ******<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 This 2-week time frame covers 1 incubation period of the virus and is intended to reduce the risk of further exposing yourself or others.<\/p>\n<p>Limited exceptions will be made for<br \/>\n\u2022 Churches, Spiritual, Religious, Weddings, and Funerals which will continue to be restricted to 10 people<br \/>\n\u2022 For individuals caring for family members outside of their immediate household.<\/p>\n<p>The Governor has also ordered social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet in public places outside of your home.<\/p>\n<p>This does not apply to Iowans leaving for employment.
