MANCHESTER, Iowa – Oct. 3, 2025 – If your travels in Hiawatha take you from northbound Interstate 380 to westbound Boyson Road, you need to be aware of an upcoming project that may slow down your trip.
The Iowa DOT Manchester construction office announces that the northbound to westbound traffic movement at the I-380 and Boyson Road interchange will be closing on Monday, Oct. 6, for approximately one week, weather permitting. The northbound exit ramp will remain open to traffic, however travelers taking the exit can only turn right (east) from the ramp during this time.
During the closure of the northbound to westbound traffic movement, a detour will be in place to direct motorists wishing to access westbound Boyson Road to turn around at the Tower Terrace Interchange (exit 26).
