Miller Road NE from Progress Drive to Tower Terrace Road to be closed to thru traffic for sealcoat operations.
HIAWATHA, IA – June 16, 2026 – Starting Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 8:00 AM, Miller Rd NE from Progress Dr to Tower Terrace Rd will be closed to thru traffic for asphalt prep work. Work is expected to be completed by 3:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, weather pending.
Starting again on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 8:00 AM, Miller Rd Ne will be closed for sealcoat operations. Miller Rd will be closed through Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
Traffic will be rerouted to Interstate 380 from Boyson Rd to Tower Terrace Rd.
The City of Cedar Rapids will be performing the sealcoat operations.
Please be considerate of the contractor as they work to complete this project in a timely fashion.
