HIAWATHA, IA – September 24, 2025 – Starting Monday, September 29, 2025 at 8:00 a.m., Center Point Road inside traffic lanes will be closed from Blairs Ferry Road north approximately 300 lineal feet to allow City staff to remove and replace a portion of the center median. The southbound left turn lane and northbound left lane will be closed during these repairs. Southbound left turning traffic will use the left thru lane.
Traffic signals will have modified timing to allow north and south bound traffic to move independently.
These lane closures are scheduled to be in place until Thursday, October 2 at 3:00 p.m., weather pending.
Please be considerate of City staff as they work to complete this project in a timely fashion.
