Hawkeye Drive from Boyson Road to Kacena Road reduced to one lane northbound for utility work, and street widening. Southbound traffic will be rerouted along Kacena Road, Stamy Road and North Center Point Road.
HIAWATHA, IA – May 25, 2022 – Starting Tuesday, May 31, Hawkeye Drive will be reduced to one lane northbound only from Boyson Road to Kacena Road. All southbound traffic will detour on Kacena Road to Stamy Road to North Center Point Road. This lane reduction is required to allow for widening of the roadway, installation of retaining walls and installation of new sidewalks on both sides of the roadway. All businesses will remain open during the duration of the project.
Thru traffic should expect delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction. All work is anticipated to last through the month of August.
