Tucker St from B Ave to C Ave and Litchfield Dr from 18th Ave to Miller Rd temporary road/lane closure for street improvements. Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Tucker Street and Litchfield Dr during street patching, milling operation and curb & gutter repairs. A full road closure will be required during the asphalt overlay operation.
HIAWATHA, IA – August 4, 2021 – Starting Thursday, August 12, traffic will be reduced to one lane during daytime operations while the contractor replaces curb and gutter sections, ADA ramps, street patching and milling operations. Work on Litchfield Drive is located around the intersection with Woodland Court. The roadways will be closed in their entirety between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm for asphalt placement around August 26. Neighbors will be notified prior to full closure by the contractor.
Thru traffic should expect delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction. All work is anticipated to last approximately three (3) week.
