To keep on top of security matters, the payment method attached to your Hiawatha Water Account needs to be confirmed in our payment software. This confirmation of payment needs to be done to verify your account information with our newly updated GWorks Software. The updating process is simple, just contact our office at 319-393-5556 prior to October 1, 2024 to have this updated before the next auto payment occurs.

Any account which is not updated prior to 10/14/2024, will have their next ACH payment returned. A returned ACH payment could lead to an extra charge and/or a disruption in water service.

Pay Your Water Bill

We are now offering a new and improved way to pay your Hiawatha Water utility bill. FrontDesk is a modern and convenient solution that provides online access to your utility account and paying your monthly water bill. You can enroll in autopay, get bills electronically, and manage your account 24/7 online.

Pay My Bill

Current Customer’s Click Create Now and select Yes on the next page. You will need to have a current water bill in hand as you will need your account #, property location (located on the right side of your water bill, above the perforated line) and the last billed amount. A verification email will be sent to you, please be sure to verify your account within 30 minutes after signing up.

To pay your bill by phone, call 1-877-690-3729. Please have your account number handy and be certain to use the jurisdiction code 2510 when prompted.

Payments made online or by phone may take up to one or two days to be applied to your account. If your water is set to be disconnected, please be sure to CALL the Water Office at 1-319-393-5556.
