North Center Point Road from Fisher Street to Jerrys Lane temporary lane closure for street improvements. Travel lanes will be shifted with the center turn lane closed during center median construction.
HIAWATHA, IA – April 13, 2022 – Starting Monday, April 18, the outside travel lanes will be shifted and the center turn lane closed while the contractor modifies the center median near the railroad crossing to bring the medians in compliance for a Rail Quiet Zone. The medians will be extended and the sloped nose at each end will be replaced. The work will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Thru traffic should expect delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction. All work is anticipated to last two (2) weeks.
