HIAWATHA, IA – October 24, 2022 – Tower Terrace Road now has two lanes of traffic open from Miller Road east to North Center Point Road. Drivers should use caution along the entire length of roadway due to continued construction. There will be lane shifts on both ends of the project to bring drivers into the east bound lanes for 2-way traffic. This is required as the new south interchange bridge is not completed. The speed limit will be 25 MPH until all construction is completed.
Please note that there is NO interstate access from Tower Terrace Road until spring 2023.
Traffic on Tower Terrace Road may experience some delays due to continued construction. All work is anticipated to last until late spring or early summer 2023, weather pending.
