The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing Thursday, Feb. 28, to discuss the proposed improvements to I-380 between Collins Road/Iowa 100 and County Home Road, which includes 6-laning I-380, rebuilding the Boyson Road interchange and adding an interchange at Tower Terrace Road. The Iowa DOT would like to gather public feedback on the environmental documentation, preferred alternative, and potential impacts related to the planned highway improvements. The environmental document is now available to review online (at the link provided below), at the Cedar Rapids Public Library, 450 Fifth Avenue SE, in Cedar Rapids and the Hiawatha Public Library, 150 W. Willman Street, in Hiawatha, and will be available to review during the public hearing.
The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the Iowa DOT contact listed below by Feb. 25, 2019.
