HIAWATHA, IA – May 15, 2023 – Starting Tuesday, May 16, 2023, Northwood Drive will be intermittently reduced to one lane during the daytime from Nixon Drive to Robins Road. This is to allow for the installation of a new storm sewer on the north side of the roadway as well as sidewalk on the south side of the roadway. The contractor will have two lanes of traffic open but may need to reduce to one lane temporarily for equipment loading. Homeowners may experience short delays at their driveways as work is being completed.
Thru traffic should expect possible delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction. All work is anticipated to last through August 14, 2023.
