Daws Road from Thiher Drive to Robins Road to be reduced to one lane for installation of water main on the north side of the roadway.
HIAWATHA, IA – April 2, 2025 – Starting Monday, April 7, 2025, Daws Road from Thiher Drive to Robins Road will be restricted to one lane to allow for the installation of new water main and service connections. All traffic will flow in a clockwise direction utilizing Clymer Road and Thiher Drive before proceeding east along Daws Road. No parking will be allowed on the street from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. There will be limited parking after 6:00 pm. All vehicles must be removed from the street each day by 7:00 am or they will be towed.
This is a multi-phased project. This phase of work is anticipated to be completed by May 2, 2025. All traffic restrictions are expected to be completed by June 23, 2025.
Please be considerate of the contractor as they work to complete this project in a timely fashion.
