Traffic Signals operational on Tower Terrace Road over I-380 effective Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
HIAWATHA, IA – May 5, 2023 – Tower Terrace Road will have both eastbound and westbound bridges open and traffic signals in operation on each end of the new interchange effective Wednesday, May 10. Drivers should use caution with the new lane operations and signalization of the crossovers. The contractor will continue to have lane closures to allow for final improvements and site restoration. The speed limit will be 25 MPH until all construction is completed.
Please note that there is NO interstate access from Tower Terrace Road to I-380 until June or July 2023.
Traffic on Tower Terrace Road may experience some delays due to continued construction. All work is anticipated to last until early summer 2023, weather pending.
