Online Water Payments are BACK!

Steps to Sign Up for water payments
The Water Department is now offering FrontDesk, a modern and convenient payment portal that provides online access to your utility account along with the option to pay your monthly bill online! Payment options include debit or credit cards, the ability to enroll in autopay, receive your bills electronically and the ability to manage your account 24/7. FrontDesk is mobile-friendly and can be accessed from anywhere, on any device, from any internet connection.
Sign up today by going to City of Hiawatha’s website at:

>>> Water
>>>> Pay Water Bill
>>>>> Pay My Bill
Be sure to have a current Water Bill in hand for the following information pertaining to your account:
  • Account Number
  • Property Location (located on the right side of your bill above the perforated line)
  • Last Billed Amount
Follow the steps provided by FrontDesk to setup your account.

To ALL AUTOPAY Customers:
To keep on top of security matters, the payment method attached to your Hiawatha Water Account needs to be confirmed in our payment software. This confirmation of payment needs to be done to verify your account information with our newly updated GWorks Software. The updating process is simple, just contact our office at 319-393-5556 prior to October 1, 2024 to have this updated before the next auto payment occurs.
Any account which is not updated prior to 10/14/2024, will have their next ACH payment returned. A returned ACH payment could lead to an extra charge and/or a disruption in water service.
***Note*** Some of our customers have already completed this update. If that is you, we appreciate you taking the time to have completed this update!
